Kodak Moment #68

I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that has been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is from New York City Comic Con 2007.

Rise of the TMNT : Weapons

The internet exploded shortly after the designs for the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series was released in February.  As fans of all ages found themselves split down the middle upon the new look and feel for the Ninja Turtles, as there’s no question that this is a road they’ve never been on before.  I tried to write one story that would include my thoughts on the Facebook Live, designs, show overall and even the toys.  But it got long and hard to write, let alone read.  Which brings me here, where I’m going to give a short write up about each of the things revealed about “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”.  The new weapons that is very noticable with the Ninja Turtles.

BBO : TMNT Hero Clix 3

There’s a lot of products that come out these days as blind bags.  These are toys that you never know which one of the collection you’re going to get till you open it.  For me, it’s a collectors worse nightmare cause you end up buying the same toy over and over looking for the entire collection.  Though I would be lying, if I say it’s not fun opening the bag.  Almost like opening a present, with the excitement build up to see what’s next.  So I decided to film blind bag openings to share with all of you.  This weekly video will be short opening of bling bag toys.  This first set of blind bags to be shared is the “Hero Clixs” Limited edition Heroes in a Half Shell Series II.

Reaction : Rise of the TMNT first article

Cast for Nickelodeons Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesSince 1987 the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been going through reboots.  MWS was the first to really change the Turtles, with David Wise as the writer who had the job to make these Turtles kid friendly.  With every new incarnation of the Turtles, comes big changes.  Some changes stay, some changes are only in those incarnation of these characters.  Each ride is it’s own adventure which has it’s beginning middle and end.  As fans, the best we can do is see where the creative team takes us, and hopefully enjoy the ride.  A new ride is starting, with Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
