CCN: IDW TMNT Interview Michael Dialynas

IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series has been bringing us all sorts of cool artwork.  The new styles coming with guest artist all the time.  This makes it so the fans are not just excited to see what is going to happen next in the on going story, though we also want to see the new art style as it’s coming at us.  We all have our favorites and the ones we don’t really like, the best thing about that is there’s something for everyone.  At New York Comic Con 2015 I got to catch up with one of the new artist for IDW, Michael Dialynas.

Review: New York Comic Con 2015

Every year I try to make it out to New York Comic Con.  This is the second time where I did not think I was going to make it for the event, until the last month.  New York Comic Con is a huge event filled with panels, dealers, and guests.  For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans it’s become one of the best events to go too for a yearly dose of Turtle fun.  Here is my review of New York Comic Con 2015.

Review: Motor City Comic Con 2015

In 1997 I learned of Motor City Comic Con.  Since that year, I have been going every year to this local event.  Most years there are no real Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles connection, so it’s not the guest that I go for, I go for my friends.  For the past 10 years, I get in by helping friends at a booth, so I can enjoy this convention.  As long as I am in Michigan, during Motor City Comic Con, I will attend.  Here is my review for Motor City Comic Con 2015.

Random Review #39

Throughout the years of being a Ninja Turtle fan, my collection has been growing.  Every year I get something new that joins the collection.  Growing since 1989, I have over 500 Ninja Turtle toys out of package and over 300 in package, as well as books, animation cels, original comic art, scripts and so much more.  To cover all of this on Cowabunga Corner is not something I really think I can do.  Though I get a lot of questions about my collection, so I figured I could do random stories from time to time to share one item in my collection.  This one is about an original art page from Image TMNT series.

Living Dead Dolls Party 10/10/14 NYC

There’s a lot of great toy companies out there, so many that we can never show them all in our reviews of Toy Fair.  One of the companies that has stood out often to me is MEZCO.  I love their products and the lines of the toys they realize.  From Thundercats to Chucky these guys always have eye candy.  Which is why we support their press releases whenever they come our way.  One of their main products is the Living Dead Dolls, and while we were in New York City they held an awesome party for the Living Dead Dolls at Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum.  Here is my review of the event.

Power Con 2013: 4Kids Panel

Powercon 2013 took place in California it was based on the Thundercats,  He-man and Ninja Turtles. I was brought in as a guest and got to host several panels including the TMT panel for the 2000's.  My guests were all from the four kids series so we did not cover the 2000's we just covered the 2003 Turtles series.  Here is the video of that panel.

There are some areas in history that gets overlooked too often.  The people who put together everything we enjoy that don’t get credit.  That are often not mentioned.  People with skills brought in to do the work and few learn their names.  To those I tip my hat.  This is why Cowabunga Corner has the goal to make sure we can talk with anyone and everyone who’s worked on Ninja Turtles from the artist, voices, producers, stunts, actors and more.  Our goal is credit to all the amazing people that made TMNT through these years be as awesome as it is.  Even if we miss out on meeting someone, we still want to take time out for them.  This is in memory of an artist whose name was not credited but

My Father : Dave Ivey

Family, the key that helps us shape up to who we become.  If people want to believe it or not, their family has a strong influence on their life.  Folks who are there for you every steps of the way, those who barely know you’re alive and even those who disappear before memories can truly begin to take place.  Each one cause a rift of waves that will forever set you on a path unique only to you and those close to you.  Each family has a different feel, their own fingerprint.  I feel lucky to be in the family that I have.  Often I share their stories, the good and the bad.  I feel that those around you, everyone you meet and see, lives on through your memories.  Sharing those memories is how to keep one truly

Review: IDW TMNT #23

In the original cartoon series, Shredder did not try to kill the Turtles right away.  He offered for them to join him.  This was used again in the 4Kids series.  Each time Shredder has tried to win the Turtles over to his side he has failed, and soon decides to destroy them.  In the IDW comics we have a different situation where Shredder knows the Turtles from their previous life.  He does not want just any Turtle, he wants Leonardo.  He has a goal set and is aimed to get it.  In TMNT #22, Leonardo was caught by the Shredder.  So here comes the question that everyone has.  How will Shredder get Leonardo by his side? That is answered in issue 23.

Review: IDW MLP:FIM Micro Series "Pinkie Pie"

Inspiration comes from everywhere from art, plants, smells and people.  Once someone finds something that inspires them, it's hard to let go of it.  One of the hardest things to face is knowing that not only is that inspiration disappearing but it does not really wish to disappear.  It's depressing on all angels.  But you can not force those things to keep going forward if the path they're on, no longer works for them.  This is what Pinkie Pie faces in t
