Review: Drawing Blood by Kevin Eastman and David Avallone

Often when us fans get into movies, cartoons, comics and toys it all becomes about the characters that pulled us into the show.  Be it Star Trek, Ninja Turtles, Care Bears, My Little Pony, X-Men, and so many other amazing properties out there.  We each find our way into those series, the world created around these characters and get lost.  We find something that we personally connect too, which makes that world seem like it’s special to us and only us.  No one will ever understand our world, because they could never see it from our eyes.  Making each fan so different from the next one.  The world of those characters, becomes so important to the fans in a whole, that people don’t often realize what creators

Book Review: "Family Don't End with Blood"

Fandom is a strong part of my life.  For the past 29 years of my life I have been a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Fan, and 23 of those years I’ve been an active member of the TMNT online fandom.  Though I’ve always been proud and happy to share my fandom with others, even before the internet.  I find it hard to think that people feel they need to hide their passions and worry about what the world thinks, since all of us being different is what makes this world great.  I have embraced all sorts of fandoms, though can’t find myself taking a more active role in those other fandoms since my passion stays so much to the world of TMNT.  My other fandoms shine through more to the people that know me

Review: TMNT Swap Book

Most Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products that I’ve picked up at the market, I’ve at least heard of that type of product before.  Every now and then, something new comes that just seems different or strange to me.  A new thing that young people may be enjoying.  These items are still part of TMNT history and will be shown here.  Which brings us to today’s review, a TMNT Swap Book.

Snap Review: TMNT Pillow Book

There’s so many different products released every year that we have a hard time keeping up with everything.  From toys, food, and novelty products.  Wanting to cover everything we enjoy, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can take time.  Which has got me deciding to do some shorter reviews, just doing fast coverage of the product itself.  These are our Cowabunga Corner Snap Reviews.  Each review covering a different product, depending on what ever it is we have to share.  This episode covers the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pillow Book.

Review: IDW TMNT #50 *SPOILER*

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has so many different origins, stories, character growth and character designs.  A lot of people always try to compare them to each other, at the same time they’re so different.  IDW Publishing has been releasing their own version of the Turtles which is not like any other out there.  With their own history for the characters, their own plots that don’t match up to any other series and their own way of handling very intense moments.  Recently IDW made a lot of news with Donatello, that was only the build up for what is coming in issue 50.  Here is a spoiler filled review of issue 50 from IDW TMNT.

Living Dead Dolls Party 10/10/14 NYC

There’s a lot of great toy companies out there, so many that we can never show them all in our reviews of Toy Fair.  One of the companies that has stood out often to me is MEZCO.  I love their products and the lines of the toys they realize.  From Thundercats to Chucky these guys always have eye candy.  Which is why we support their press releases whenever they come our way.  One of their main products is the Living Dead Dolls, and while we were in New York City they held an awesome party for the Living Dead Dolls at Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum.  Here is my review of the event.

Review: Free Comic Book Day 2014

Every year Comic Book fans have a day that stands out above any other.  This day helps introduce people to new comics, brings communities closer together.  Gets creators out to meet their fans.  All while bringing happiness to the comic fans who gather for this day of fun and excitement.  Free Comic Book day.  In 2013 I reviewed two awesome gatherings that took place on the Holiday.  This year I only went to one, though for an important moment in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles history.  Here is my review of “Free Comic Book Day” 2014.
