Seeing New York City with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles As My Guide

I love visiting New York City and getting lost. I have a horrible sense of direction. I cannot describe to you just how bad it is and how frustrating it can be at times. That being said, when I’m not on anyone’s time but my own and in an interesting place like Manhattan, it can be kind of nice. I usually end up finding something new. I used to visit New York and get lost once or twice a year, but more and more people I cared about kept moving there and making it harder to take time for myself and do tourist stuff. Last week I decided to take a trip for me and here’s what happened.

Review: TMNT big Wall Decal

One of my favorite things to do is decorate the room I stay in with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  I have done this since I was 12 years old, with posters, toys, signs from fast food places and so much more.  My walls often would tell stories of what my collection had within.  Though when we moved to the house I live in now, the slanted walls did not work for really hanging up the kind of things I use to hang.  Making this new room much harder to find something that would stay.  Posters, toys, and cardboard signs would often fall being too heavy.  Making it so my walls are more often clear of Ninja Turtles.  Till I found Wall Decals.  Here is my review of one of the new Nickelodeon Teenage Mut

Michele Ivey's "Cowabunga Corner" #43

In this episode I got to interview fans that went to New York City Comic Con. We got ten great people for this interview. Most of the interviews take place just outside of the convention center, though one of these interviews takes place across the street from Ray's Pizza. The Ray's Pizza we were at is the very same that was used in TMNT 2 the Secret Of the Ooze as Roy's Pizza.

In this episode I interview TMNT fan and collector Rutger. Rutger is best known across the internet for his massive TMNT autograph collection as he's been able to get some of the hardest to find autographs and shares them on his website.

In the 8th episode of "Cowabunga Corner" Season 2 I review the first set of Neca Turtle Toys.

Welcome to episode 7 of Cowabunga Corner Season 2.

Michele Ivey's "Cowabunga Corner" #32

In this episode I talk about New York City Comic Con, an event I’ve been going to since it started that takes places in New York City once a year. Filled with comics, anime, and more. I normally enjoy this event and there’s always something Ninja Turtles happening there for fans to enjoy.

This is an over view of all of the years, I will be doing blogs focusing on certain events that has happened at New York City Comic Con that Turtle fans may enjoy. I am sorry, though I will never post a full panel, though I will post pieces of panels that I feel fits to Cowabunga Corner.

Cowabunga Corner #28

In this episode we have an interview with Scott Williams who is best known as Baxter Stockman from the 4Kids TMNT series.

The interview was filmed at New York City Comic Con on October 10th, 2010. Scott is a great guy and a good artist. He does commissions and I’d like to share some of his information here for people who are interested in getting commissions or just saying hi to Baxter Stockman.
